Mary O’Kane delivered a fantastically engaging and practical talk for parents on the subject of childhood anxiety. It covered the physical and psychological manifestation of anxiety in children and how best to help them understand what is happening and how to manage it. As a rurally based Family Resource Centre we were delighted to engage a speaker of this knowledge and experience who has a real understanding of the issues facing parents currently

We had Dr Mary O’Kane for a talk on anxiety at The Venue Theatre in Ratoath. Personally I took a great deal away from this talk and the feedback from the local community was that Mary was extremely knowledgeable on the subject of anxiety. She was compassionate and her personal experience with dealing with anxiety made the talk resonate greatly with her audience. There is huge demand for Mary to come back again.
